Funding Opportunities From The YHA

The YHA is excited to share that they have funding to support the costs of community walking events, supporting more people to get walking.

This funding is being provided to help community organisations put on walking events for their communities. They are able to support with the costs of YHA accommodation, transport (minibus/coach hire), and other elements of expenditure such as hiring a walking guide.

The funding will be primarily for events linked to the Festival of Walking which takes place from 4th September to 20th October 2022, but they are also able to fund activity happening before 31 March 2023.

Over and beyond walking events there is also possibility for funding relating to connecting more people to movement/physical activity and helping build the capacity of community organisations – e.g., leader training.
