We will only collect information from you that we require in order to provide you with the most relevant information for your interests, and to advance diversity in the outdoors and related sectors.

We will email you with different types of communication:

  • General newsletters, including event announcements

  • Event-specific news, including sign up details

  • Related news from our friends, sponsors and partners

  • Direct emails to you, answering specific questions you’ve asked

If you’ve joined us at an event, you may receive follow up emails.

All our electronic newsletters contain an ‘Unsubscribe’ link offering you the opportunity to decline to receive further information if you so wish. Or, email hello@alltheelements.co we will unsubscribe for you. We have no wish to send you information which you do not want to receive, so please get in touch with us if you have any concerns about data. You can also use this email address if you wish to update your contact details.

We will not sell or lease your details to any other party.

The information we collect

Individuals who sign up to our mailing list through our website or at events will have the data they give to us collected – this will always include your email address, but could also include your name, telephone number, interest areas, your background, connected organisations and where you heard about us.

If you email us, your name and email address might be collected so we can send you relevant information at a later date related to your initial email. For example, if you email asking about our next event, we would add you to our newsletter mailing list and we would also tell you that we were doing so.

Confirmed event guests may have additional information collected to allow us to effectively run our events. This information may include medical, dietary and allergy information.

Relevant information may be shared with partner organisations where required – for example, dietary requirements to an event venue.

Your data is collected by All The Elements Outdoors C.I.C. and will be retained and used for the purposes outlined in this privacy statement until a time that you request it to be deleted or you opt out. This is held securely by All The Elements Outdoors C.I.C. and will not be shared with third parties without your informed consent.

Shared content

Any information (copy, images or film) submitted to us for consideration for inclusion in our member newsletter may also be shared on our social media channels and website, unless you specifically tell us that you do not wish us to do so.

We do not guarantee inclusion in the newsletter, but every submission will be given fair and equal consideration.

If this policy is changed at any time in the future we will notify all members by email, and provide you with an opportunity to opt out of this release of information if you so wish. We cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of our partners, but we do choose our partners very carefully to try to minimise risk.

Third party links

We will sometimes share third-party links with you, in order to promote collaboration opportunities and the sharing of relevant projects, funding, sustainability or social impact news. We take no responsibility for the privacy policies on these third party websites.

Emails

All The Elements Outdoors C.I.C. will email you if you contact us directly with an enquiry on hello@alltheelements.co or any of our current team’s direct email addresses. We also may contact you if you sign up to attend an All The Elements Outdoors C.I.C. event. We are passionate about collaboration, so we encourage our members to connect with each other. Unless you have explicitly told us otherwise, we will always ask before we share any non-public contact details.

You can easily unsubscribe from our emails by sending an email to hello@alltheelements.co. We will never sell or lease your personal details to anyone else. If you would like to update any of your details or check what details we have on our database, please email hello@alltheelements.co.
