Naturesave Trust - October to November Theme: Biodiversity

Grant: Up to £5,000
Funding Type: Project based
Registration Status: Charities, Community Groups, CICs, Organisations, Voluntary Organisations or Businesses based in the UK
Diversity Area: Across diversity areas
Activity: Nature Connection, Nature Recovery
Application Deadline: 27th November 2025

In this funding round, the Naturesave Trust are looking to support organisations whose work connects their community to nature through:

  • Pollinator plans

  • Habitat restoration

  • Hedgerow management

  • Wildlife gardens

  • Pesticide alternatives

  • Conservation volunteering

  • Education

  • Influencing local councils

  • Citizen science

  • Community wildlife surveys

They are also open to other ideas not listed above and encourage organisations to apply if they have a “fresh idea”.

The Trust has shared that they will prioritise small, grassroots and community-led organisations, often run by volunteers or with a small number of paid staff. Most of the groups they have funded previously, have an annual income of under £250,000.

If applicants are able to promote their work via social media or on their website, that is preferred. However, the Naturesave Trust acknowledge that not every project has the means for an online space, and in such cases a press release to your newsletter list or local news outlet instead is deemed adequate.
