The Eveson Trust fund typically offers registered charities funding for one year. They will consider applications from charities whose work supports one or more of the following diversity areas; young people, disability, limited financial means and/or mental health.  An example of how this has been used in relation to outdoor activities in previous funding rounds is The Outward Bound Trust.

They will consider applications from charities that support:

  • People with physical disabilities, including people who are Blind and or Deaf

  • People with special educational needs

  • People in need of support with their mental health

  • Older people

  • People who live in hospices or hospitals

  • People who are homeless

They will also support applications from charities that support young people aged up to 25 who:

  • Live in poverty

  • Face disadvantage due to lack of local facilities or poor public transport

  • Are young carers

  • Live in, or have previously lived in, the care system

  • Have a parent in prison

  • Live in refuges

  • Are at risk of gang exploitation

  • Are in the justice system
