New Role Available: Disability Campaigners’ Social Facilitator
Closing Date for Applications: Sunday 31st August, 12pm
Could you help us host our Disability Campaigners’ Socials? We’re looking for an experienced facilitator with lived experience of disability to support us running our quarterly online socials. We have run Disability Campaigners Socials for 3 years and they are an important opportunity for the disability campaigners and advocates within the All The Elements network to meet, network and discuss the most pressing challenges they are facing.
The ideal person for this role would be someone who is warm and enthusiastic. You would be confident helping people settle into an online space and love helping others to connect and learn from each other. You’re likely to have experience navigating sensitive conversations and are excited about building supportive communities.
While experience running this specific type of session is not necessary, we are looking for someone with experience of holding space for individuals with shared lived experience but different voices and needs. Knowledge and understanding of the importance of accessibility in online spaces would also be beneficial.
In this role, you’ll be working alongside our current team, including our Disability Campaigners’ Lead, but with plenty of opportunities for you to help shape and grow the socials in the future.
How to Apply
Please send an email to hello@alltheelements.co with more details about yourself, why you think you’d be a good fit for this role and why the work of All The Elements interests you (500 word maximum). Shortlisted applicants will be asked to send us a CV and be invited to interview via Zoom.
