Sporting Equals promotes diversity in sport and physical activity. The organisation aims to achieve healthier and fairer communities. Healthier, by increasing participation and engagement in physical activity via projects. Fairer, by giving ethnically diverse people a voice and a platform, but also through campaigns and advocacy to achieve fairer ethnic representation in leadership roles, at board level and within staff teams.

The charity was launched in July 2020 with the mission to increase the inclusion, participation and representation of Black people in the activity of trail running.

Jes is an award-winning crowdfunding consultant specialising in helping community groups, charities and socially focused businesses raise money and build audiences so they can deliver their work and become sustainable in the long run. Over the last 6 years she has raised over £5million for more than 80 organisations.

In her spare time she is an avid hiker, sea swimmer and paddleboard instructor. She frequently leads events for Yes Tribe Sussex and has completed several long distance hikes including the Cotswold Way and the Lycian Way.
