This fund aims to support the wellbeing of communities in the Severn Trent Region. They want to fund new projects that link to these three key elements of community wellbeing:
People - Projects that support healthier lifestyles and skills development
Place - Projects that help create better places for communities
Environment - Projects that look after our natural environment, rivers and water
For both grant sizes, they allow applicants up to 24 months to complete their project. They expect to support around 30 projects in 2026.
Previous examples of funded projects include:
New Bushbury Triangle Cooperative Gardening Club - who were supported to develop a space at the rear of their centre for a children and young persons’ gardening club.
OUTSIDE who developed a community garden.
Burlish Bike Park who were supported to develop a community hub making the woodland more accessible.
More examples of previously supported projects can be found in their annual reports.
