Introducing New Community Hosts For All The Elements Online Socials
We’re excited to share that for 2026 we’re introducing ‘Community Hosts’ for our online socials - a new role where members of the All The Elements community will join us to co-facilitate our online social events.
Meet Our 2026 Online Social Community Hosts
Monique Powell (she/her) - Trekkers UK
Monique, is the founder of Trekkers UK. As a qualified Psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in mental health, she is passionate about the transformative power of nature and its role in nurturing mental, physical, and social wellness for the global majority.
Her journey has led her to merge the benefits of nature connection with therapeutic culturally sensitive interventions.
Monique will be joining us to host a social on the 26th March.
Kelly Smith (they/she) - Black Tri Tribe
Kelly Smith is a construction manager and advocate for diversity in outdoor activities. As the Sussex leader for Black Girls Hike UK, they organised inclusive hikes that empower Black women to explore nature confidently.
In 2022, they founded The Black Tri Tribe—the UK’s first triathlon club dedicated to Black and Asian communities—creating a welcoming space for beginners to try swimming, cycling, and running. Through both roles, they are committed to breaking down barriers, fostering community, and making the outdoors more accessible for all.
Kelly Smith will be joining us to host a social on the 25th May.
Agus 'AJ' Guardiola (they/them) - ClimbOut Festival
AJ is the managing director and co-founder of ClimbOut Festival, the UK’s first queer climbing festival. They’re passionate about making the outdoors a more inclusive, welcoming space by breaking down barriers and increasing representation for LGBTQ+ and other underrepresented communities in climbing.
Beyond the festival, they are committed to collaborating with climbing walls, brands, and outdoor organisations to champion inclusivity year-round. Their hope is that this work helps reshape what the climbing community looks like, and who it feels accessible to.
AJ will be joining us to host a social on the 24th September.
About All The Elements Online Socials
Our socials are the opportunity to meet likeminded individuals working to create change on diversity in the UK outdoors.
In the new format, Community Hosts will begin by sharing an introduction to their work, before opening up the conversation for wider networking.
Online socials take place on Zoom and usually last one hour, providing a welcoming space for:
New members to join the community and learn about projects happening across the network
Existing members to stay connected to each other and the All The Elements team
Ideas to be sparked, partnerships initiated and collaborations forged
Our community covers all diversity areas, all activities and all outdoor sector roles - all we ask is for you to join us with an open and collaborative attitude.
