The Outdoor Connection 2026
From the 24th - 26th April, we gathered at YHA Ilam Hall for The Outdoor Connection 2026. It was an incredible weekend, bringing together the experts and community leaders who are shaping the future of an inclusive, accessible and representative UK outdoors.
Across the weekend community leaders were invited to facilitate sessions and share their expertise. The weekend included six workshops, three networking activities and a range of additional wellbeing sessions.
We have a range of resources, insights, celebrations, reflections and stories to share from the event - look out for them over the coming weeks! But for now, we just want to say a huge thank you to all of the attendees and facilitators for bringing your energy, openness, knowledge and curiosity. Thank you also to the fantastic team at YHA Ilam Hall for looking after us over the weekend and to all those who supported the event and made it happen!
The Outdoor Connection is run in partnership between All The Elements and YHA Outdoor Citizens. This years event was supported by YHA (England & Wales), Natural England and Sport England.
