2026 Awareness Days - Key Dates for our Community

Marking awareness days can be a powerful way of connecting to wider movements. Over the last few years we’ve loved seeing the different ways in which our community have have leveraged these key dates to plan events and raise awareness about their work.

For the All The Elements team, awareness days provide an opportunity to celebrate and further amplify our community members. Last year, in 2025, we celebrated International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a week-long content series celebrating the work and achievements of 6 incredible Disability Campaigners in the UK outdoors.

To make it easier to plan your own celebrations, we’ve compiled this list of key awareness days, weeks, and months taking place in 2026.

These include events that are UK-based as well as those recognised internationally, spanning a wide range of diversity and inclusion themes. We’ve tried to include as many as possible, but this list isn’t exhaustive. If there is a day that we haven’t listed here that you think we should include please let us know and we can add it.

Lastly, if you’re part of the All The Elements community or you are working on diversity in the UK outdoors and you’re planning an event around a key awareness date we’d love to hear from you. Amplifying the stories and voices of our community is one of our core aims and we’d love to share your work.
