For Beth Collier, the founder and Chief Executive of Wild and City, everything the organisation does has to be rooted in authenticity. From training nature guides to influencing policy, her team ensures that people of colour don’t just build a relationship with nature but are also equipped with cultural and ancestral knowledge and tools that they can pass on to future generations.

In the current funding climate, many organisations are finding it hard to access the funding they need to deliver their work. In this article we talk to Mohammed Towhasir from Greater Manchester based organisation, Become United, who provide support and empowerment to BAME communities. We discuss how partnerships and working with other organisations has helped them grow, access different funding and become more resilient.
